Kjetil Jansrud took the gold in the Alpine event, followed by Americans Andrew Weibrecht and Bode Miller, who tied for the bronze medal with Canada's Jan Hudec. Thirty-six-year-old Miller became the oldest Olympic Alpine skiing medalist.
The winner, Jansrud, earned the bonze medal last week in the downhill competition.
Medals will also be awarded Sunday in snowboard, cross-country relay, speed skating and biathlon.
The United States now has the lead with 16 total medals - one more than host Russia. Germany has the most gold medals with seven, followed by Switzerland and Norway with five each.

The United States defeated Russia 3-2 in a nail-biting shootout hockey clash.
The Russians appeared to score the winning goal with just under five minutes left in the third period of the preliminary round game, but referees disallowed the goal because the net was knocked out of place before the shot.
The regulation ended 2-2, going into overtime play and then a shootout. T.J. Oshie scored the shootout winner as Team USA fans went wild.
