Ukraine () - First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev and Vice-Premier Wu Yi, Zhang Detszyan in Kiev today signed an agreement establishing the Commission on Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the People’s Republic.
According to the press service of First Vice-Premier, after a meeting of the commission Klyuev listed the main areas for increased cooperation between Ukraine and China: trade, energy, engineering, medicine and pharmaceuticals, science and technology, aviation, space, educational and cultural areas and agriculture.
So, according to Klyuyeva, in industry, special attention is paid to the further development of cooperation in the field of aircraft. First of all, we are talking about the interaction of SE “Antonov” with the Chinese Industrial Corporation AVIC, expanding the supply of aircraft engines and spare parts, provision of appropriate services, said First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine. Also discussed joint projects to build planes of various modifications, he said.
The two sides also agreed on changes and additions to the Program of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation in the space industry in 2011-2012, said Andrey Klyuyev.
During the meeting, the Commission agreed on the participation of Chinese companies’ scientific and technical state-owned company “Tiandi Science & Technology CO, LTD” in the modernization of technical equipment of mines in Ukraine. The outcome of the Commission’s agreement was signed between this Chinese company and the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Ukraine.
